Our August "Name that Page" Contest has started!
Leave comments on this post before August 31st to be eligible to WIN FREE BLOG CANDY!!
Winners are chosen by random number -- but send in your best Title ideas! Other readers may find them helpful (that's really what we are aiming for).
This month's photos are on 8x8 pages. It's a long story ... but I "took in a pregnant dog" ... she had no where to go. My boyfriend's ex-wife just dropped her off at his house, and he couldn't keep her. I love animals, and she took to me right away.
I felt like a grandmother -- I was right there when she had her puppies. My daughters and I were so amazed. And she let us hold the puppies while they were MINUTES old. She was such a good mommy -- I decided to keep her! I guess she's thankful since I'm her FAVORITE. And the puppies all found great homes.
For the pages we used some cute paper (scraps) all about dogs and puppies. The colors were just perfect. But you just KNOW I HAD to add some flowers.
And aren't the bone-shape paper clips adorable?!
These are two of the puppies about 4 weeks old. There were 7 of them! Their "den" started out as the cubby under the stairs, but they soon outgrew that little closet. Then the whole crowd was running around our kitchen.
My older DD is the animal lover and was always holding one of the puppies. She had her favorites, but loved them all. And they were so cute with that puppy milk breath.
Help us out -- we're not sure about journaling. Looking for a new and unique way to add a little of the story. Any ideas? Techniques? Different types of papers?
We're looking for a unique title ... we've thought of "Puppy Love" ... we want you to share your ideas!
This photo shows 5 of the puppies at the "gate" to their understairs den. We removed the door (it was only a 1/2 size door anyway) and made a half door that we could peek in at them and they couldn't quite jump out.
The puppy on the left (strawberry blonde!) belongs to my niece and nephew now. They call her Marley.
Leave comments on this post with your title ideas. You can leave as many ideas as you want -- each will be a separate entry in the drawing.
Win some FREE blog candy (stamping and scrapping supplies).
Have fun -- we look forward to seeing your ideas.

I would title the bottom page Puppy Love, that is what I think of when I look at that sweet page! Maybe A Lot of Love would be cute also (:

I don't have any brilliant thoughts, but I did want to say that those bone shaped paper clips are wonderful! I'd go with "Double Trouble" for the first one and "Hangin' Out" for the second. So so cute.

For the 1st photo I would definitely journal the story and then I'd title it "Paw Prints on My Heart" and the other one I'd title "How Much is That Doggie in the Window?" I just makes me think of that song!
They are adorable and I look forward to seeing the finished pages!

Mandie has come up with a really great idea for these pages! Anyone who has dogs / puppies ... it's such a cute idea!
All the entries will be put into a "hat" and a winner will be drawn by random number.
If you have pet pages and need some inspiration -- we hope you can find some here!

Those are cute puppies. I didn't see a picture of all the puppies together. But seeing how you all just loved them so much, I came up with 7th heaven, for 7 very loved puppies.

Oh, aren't they just the cutest puppies?!!! SO adorable! As far as the journaling goes, you could easily slip a tag behind the photo on either page....some coordinating ribbon at the top for looks and easy pulling! :) You could also journal in a small font on the computer, cut it in strips and line it down the side of the puppy group photo.
Okay, some title ideas:
Pick of the Litter
Our Happy Accidents
4 Weeks
Puppy Breath
Can We Come Out Now?
Hope at least some of this can give you a few ideas! :)

Paws-itively Adorable!
Doggone cute!
No bones about it... (then some journaling - maybe for the page with the bone clip)
will be thinking!!

Title: Loving Arms and Wet Kisses. They are precious. That could even be a title, too.

I'm a dog lover and these are some of the most adorable puppies I've ever seen.

Too long? Too corny? ;)

These little guys are beautiful and so huggable! For the 2nd LO I suggest:
"me..me..me..me.."
"pick me..no..me..no..pick me"
"hey, it's my turn"
