Everything you Need to Know about Clear Acrylic Stamps!
I've been stamping for a number of years (over 15), and have a large collection of (red) rubber stamps. Now that you can find clear stamps in a variety of designs, I'm accumulating a large number of those as well! The clear stamps are so much easier to store and see what you are stamping!
We'll try to find the BEST OF THE BEST TIPS and INFO about Clear Acrylic Stamps for you!
1) We've found a great blog post on the Queen Kat Designs site about "KEEPING THE STAMPS STICKY". This is probably one of the most often asked question I receive. Hope this will help when you're finding your acrylic stamps less than sticky.

2) Is a Rose by any other name, still a Rose? Is a "clear" stamp by any other name, still the same? The latest & greatest (in our opinion) thing to happen to rubber stamping are the clear stamps. They take up so much less room, can position easier because they are clear, and so many more great things about them ... it would take all day. But I bet you've heard them called by a number of different names, right?

Well, there is a difference to the clear stamps, but most manufacturers will refer to them as just "clear" stamps. Some types of material will yellow, and they all can stain.
Best inks to use on clear stamps: PIGMENT (take a long time drying and best for heat embossing), "fluid" CHALK INKS and even ACRYLIC PAINTS (products such as Ranger's Paint Dabbers make clean-up so easy!)
Due to the nature of the polymer/acrylic material, regular dye inks will "bead" up on these stamps. And also remember, most of the clear stamps can not make as detailed images as traditional rubber stamps.
