Name that Page Contest -- Win FREE Blog Candy

It's time for our October "NAME THAT PAGE" Contest. Comment on this post -- give us ideas for a title for the page we've made -- and you could win FREE BLOG CANDY. This month's blog candy is from Daisy D's.

This month's page we used a black & white photo. This is a girl who LOVES LOVES LOVES pink and kitties. And, she and her cat are both "princesses". And we don't mean princess in a bad way -- it's just a way of carrying yourself, dressing, acting "proper"!

Help us with a title for this princess who loves pink & kitties!

The page is pretty simple ... pink and turquoise with a dash of white thrown in.

Supplies we used:

*a Stampin'Up! stamp set for the cat and perfume bottle;

* Prima flowers;

* various brads;

* Stickles (on the cat's crown);

* lace;

* Printed paper is by EK Success, Stacy Claire Boyd, the Stella Collection.

Name That Page Contest -- Win FREE Blog Candy!!

We're a bit late posting our "Name That Page Contest" for this month, but some health problems have kept me off my feet -- and away from my scrapping!

We've got a challenging one this month ... we had a small party at my parents' house for my Dad's 75th Birthday. I only got 1 really nice photo, my daughters and my dad. We made him a little book of the "10 Reasons Why You're The Greatest" ... and he was really touched. We used some of the special little things that the girls and I always talk about when we refer to "Grandad".

The page is 8 1/2 x 11 (a different size for me!), and it's pretty plain. I've been thinking of taking the photos of the inside of the book and using them as small thumbnails along the side.

BUT we're still stumped as to a title ... originally it was just "Happy 75th BIrthday" ... but that was too boring and didn't really mean "SPECIAL".

"Name that Page" a regular feature!

We've had such fun doing "NAME THAT PAGE" these past several weeks. We've received wonderful comments, great title suggestions, e-mails and more. Didn't realize there were so many cool ideas for page titles ... honestly, it will be difficult to choose they are all great.

Each month (by mid-month) we'll post a scrapbook page without a title. You'll have until the end of the month to leave comments with your ideas of a great name for that page.

The winner will not be drawn at random, BUT ... your name will not be attached to the title. One of my daughters or friends will choose the title they like best (and I'll match it up with your name).
